About Us
Two independent practices under one roof
Attorney Seda Başay-Yıldız and Dr. Mehmet Gürcan Daimagüler work together in an office-sharing arrangement (Bürogemeinschaft) in Frankfurt am Main. Both practise independently as attorneys and are retained individually; the office-sharing arrangement is not a partnership (Sozietät) and does not create a joint professional practice company. Our clients benefit from this close collaboration through the combination of criminal-law, business-law and political experience at a single location.
Our approach
We are a personal, client-focused practice. Our clients do not deal with changing contacts but with us directly. We see ourselves as partners who accompany our clients from the first question to the end of the proceedings.
We represent our clients' interests with determination and persistence – including against large companies and public authorities. Many of our best-known cases have been disputes of this kind.

We defend suspects and defendants – and we represent victims as joint plaintiffs. This dual experience sharpens our understanding of the strategy on both sides of a criminal case.
Experience with government and administration
Dr. Daimagüler served as a Federal Government Commissioner and previously as a parliamentary adviser in the Bundestag. We know how ministries, public authorities and legislation work. This helps in proceedings against authorities and in projects that require permits, residence titles or public funding.
Business expertise in criminal law
Business and tax criminal proceedings require economic understanding in addition to legal knowledge. We bring this combination from many years of practice.
Law at the intersection of politics and business
Some matters go beyond a purely legal question – for instance when a case attracts public attention, when business decisions carry regulatory or political risk, or when strategic communication is needed alongside legal defence. Through our experience in management consulting, compliance, business and politics, we also advise in these more complex situations.

We are based in Frankfurt am Main – our cases regularly take us to Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Stuttgart, Munich and other cities as well.
